The Mayor of Bolesławiec has announced an open call for proposals for the entrustment of a public task to non-governmental organizations and other entities authorized to conduct activities in the public benefit sphere in 2015. The entrustment covers the task of: “Ecology and animal protection, as well as protection of natural heritage – improving the living conditions of free-roaming animals in the city of Bolesławiec”.
The task concerns measures to ensure the humane treatment of animals, protect them and provide care, including: veterinary care for free-roaming cats requiring treatment; purchasing, obtaining and distributing food (autumn–winter); finding temporary homes for free-roaming cats; and sterilization and neutering of free-roaming cats.
The planned amount of public funds allocated for the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 40,000. Details can be found in the announcement on www.boleslawiec.eu.
