Five free screenings of the educational documentary film “INKA 1946 …. JA JEDNA ZGINĘ” directed by Natalia Koryncka-Gruz were held at CIKOrzeł. Nearly 380 students from schools in Bolesławiec took part in the screenings: the Complex of General and Vocational Schools, the Complex of Mechanical Schools and the Complex of Schools of the Piarist Order. The aim of the cooperation between the organizers of the screenings—the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre – International Ceramics Centre and the Bolesławiec “Prawy” Association—is patriotic and independence education, as well as bringing Poland’s difficult post-war history closer.
Those interested in taking part in organized screenings of the film are asked to contact CIK Orzeł, tel. 75 645 35 97, e-mail: cik@bok.boleslawiec.pl. BOK-MCC is currently preparing an educational offer for schools and plans to organize free educational screenings of Independence Cinema open to residents once a month.
