The competition was held at the base of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade in Rzeszów, with 10 teams taking part in the championships, divided into two groups. Group A included, alongside the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade from Świętoszów, teams such as the 17th Greater Poland Mechanized Brigade (17WBZ) from Międzyrzecz, the 1st Engineer Regiment (1psap) from Brzeg, the 23rd Artillery Regiment (23pa) from Bolesławiec and the 6th Airborne Brigade (6BPD) from Kraków.

Group B consisted of: the 34th Armored Cavalry Brigade (34BKPanc), the 11th Command Battalion (11bdow) from Żagań, the 4th Anti-Aircraft Regiment (4pplot) from Czerwieńsk, the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade (21BSP-2) from Rzeszów, the 5th Chemical Regiment (5pchem) from Tarnowskie Góry and the first team of the 21st Podhale Rifles Brigade (21BSP-1) from Rzeszów.

The opening match was played by 10BKPanc and 6BPD; our Brigade won 2–0. The second match promised great excitement, as the team from 17WBZ in Międzyrzecz stood on the other side of the net. The match was played at a very high level, with the players from Międzyrzecz and Świętoszów taking the lead in turn. Unfortunately, the first set ended in defeat for the armored soldiers. Nevertheless, after a reprimand from our team captain, the Świętoszów Brigade won the next two sets, defeating their opponents 2–1.

The following day, our representatives played two more matches, against 23pa and 1psap. Both matches ended with victories for the 10BKPanc volleyball players, with scores of 2–0.

After winning the group stage, the armored soldiers faced in the semifinal the team that had finished second in Group B—their perennial rival, the 34BKPanc team. After a very evenly matched game, the team from Żagań lost 0–2 to our team.

The final between the two best teams—the 10BKPanc from Świętoszów and the 21st BSP from Rzeszów—promised a match of the highest level. No words can convey the intensity of this encounter; both teams fought for every point. The lead changed hands repeatedly. However, the players from 10BKPanc showed greater composure under pressure and determination in the closing stages of the sets, enabling them to win 2–0.

The award for the most versatile player of the championships went to Pvt. Adrian Milczarek.
