The arrest took place on February 10, at around 4:40 a.m., on al. Wolności in Głogów. Police officers patrolling the area noticed a smashed window at one of the shops. Inside was a 37-year-old man who was putting packs of cigarettes into a small bag.
The man was arrested. The 37-year-old resident of Bogatynia caused losses amounting to PLN 3,900. He admitted to the crime.
He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
