During an evening patrol, officers spotted a “tagger” near one of the buildings in Jelenia Góra, creating ugly graffiti on the façade. When he saw the officers, the vandal fled, abandoning the paint.
The man was arrested after a short chase. He is a 30-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra who, at the time of his arrest, had nearly 2‰ of alcohol in his system.
The vandal was taken into police custody. The owner is assessing the damage, while officers are determining whether the “artist” has committed more crimes of this kind.
The 30-year-old faces up to five years in prison.
