On the night from Monday to Tuesday, in Czerna, police officers stopped a Mercedes for a roadside check. The 23-year-old driver was overtaking in a prohibited place. The officers issued the driver a PLN 700 fine. Wanting to avoid paying the high fine, the man took out PLN 100 and handed it to the officers. The police officers notified the station duty officer about the incident and arrested the man. The Mercedes driver will be held accountable not only for the offense he committed, but also for attempting to bribe police officers. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
