On February 7, at around 7:10 p.m., police officers on Tysiąclecia Street in Piechowice noticed a Seat whose driver began behaving nervously upon seeing the uniformed officers. The man, a 33-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra, was stopped for a roadside check.
It then emerged that the man from Jelenia Góra had been driving despite a court ban, which remains in force until June 20, 2017. What is more, three zip-lock bags containing amphetamine were hidden under the Seat’s seat, while officers found power tools in the boot that probably came from a theft.
The 33-year-old was taken into police custody. He faces up to three years in prison.
