A sign language interpreter has started working at Bolesławiec City Hall. Wiesława Kurowska will help people handle official matters every Tuesday and Thursday. The interpreter is on duty from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Social Affairs Department, room 305, in the office building at Piłsudski Square.
"In April, nearly 30 people came to me for help handling matters at the office. People are already booking appointments in advance; interest is high," says Wiesława Kurowska. More than 160 hard-of-hearing or deaf people live in Bolesławiec.
