At Forum, another excellent performance by Zdrojowy Teatr Animacji from Jelenia Góra. The last available seats are waiting. The performance is an adaptation of an old Japanese fairy tale that introduces audiences to Japanese puppet theatre, known as bunraku, which dates back to the 17th century. The animated puppets stand out for their extraordinary beauty and are operated by three actors working in harmony, requiring exceptional precision and artistry. The set design was prepared by Joanna Hrk, and the choreography was created by Małgorzata Fijałkowska. The cast includes: Dorota Fluder, Lidia Lisowicz, Katarzyna Morawska, Rafał Ksiądzyna, Sylwester Kuper and Jacek Maksimowicz.

“The Royal Sparrow” brings audiences closer to a set of principles relevant both in fairy tales and in life: one should be kind to those who are weaker, not hurt others and give everyone another chance. An engaging plot is brought to life by catchy songs written by Tomasz Walczak.
