A man called the 84-year-old woman, introduced himself as a CBŚ officer and asked her to hand over 20,000 złoty because, as he claimed, the Bureau was conducting an operation targeting fraudsters. The man stressed that he would return the cash once the operation was over. The victim threw tens of thousands of złoty out of the window in a plastic bag.
