Officers from Bogatynia arrested a 34-year-old resident of Bogatynia suspected of committing a series of crimes in the city. Over the past few weeks, the man broke into six flats, breaking through balcony doors each time. In his flat, police officers found, among other things, mobile phones, a tablet, jewellery and watches worth several thousand PLN.
The flats were not enough for the 34-year-old, however. He also broke into one of Bogatynia’s discount stores, from which he stole cigarettes worth PLN 400. He also stole a passenger car valued at more than PLN 50,000.
The prosecutor’s office is handling the case. The arrested man faces up to 10 years in prison.
