The incident occurred at the end of December last year on one of the streets in Jelenia Góra. The 29-year-old noticed a boy talking on a mobile phone. He approached the teenager, snatched the phone from his hand and then fled.
The value of the stolen property was estimated at PLN 1,900. Officers found the phone at one of the pawnshops in Jelenia Góra.
The 29-year-old man from Jelenia Góra admitted his guilt. He now faces up to five years in prison.
