On December 20, district officers from the Lubin District Police Headquarters stopped two cars for a roadside inspection. The 28-year-old Audi driver was towing a 33-year-old BMW driver. Both are residents of Lubin.

It turned out that neither man had a driving licence. The Audi driver lost his licence back in 2011, when he drove a car while intoxicated. Two years later... he was again driving under the influence. The man violated two court bans.

His colleague in the BMW, meanwhile, caused an accident while intoxicated. His court ban is in force until 2017.

Both men now face up to three years in prison.
