The Christmas Eve of the Siberian Exile Family was held on Saturday, December 13, at Primary School No. 1 in Bogatynia. Zofia Kulikowskaspoke: “Faith, hope and gratitude for each day we lived through were always with us. That hope will enter us once again.”
“I wish you wonderful holidays. I know that those Siberian holidays were completely different from today’s; often, it was not even possible to open the door from the outside because newly fallen snow had covered it. I bow my head to you,” added Bogatynia Mayor Andrzej Grzmielewicz.
The event was enhanced by a performance by children from Primary School No. 1.
