Officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec arrested two men, aged 26 and 30, suspected of committing a theft that took place on 4 December this year in Bolesławiec. During inspections of non-ferrous metal collection points, officers discovered two aluminium wheels at each of two locations, which together formed a complete set. Police findings indicated that these were items stolen from the premises of a tyre service facility. The value of the stolen property was estimated at PLN 1,000.
Based on the collected evidence, two theft suspects were arrested. They confessed to the alleged offence and gave statements in the case. The recovered property was handed over to its rightful owner. The suspects, residents of Bolesławiec, had previously been convicted of property-related offences. Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
