The premiere of the musical show “The Lion King” will take place on 11 December at 7:00 p.m. on the stage of the Forum hall. The following day, at 12:00 p.m., there will be a performance for schools. Admission by invitation only.
Nearly 150 people from four music and dance studios of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre are involved in the project. People selected during auditions held during the winter holidays will play iconic characters including Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumba. The young artists are being prepared for their stage and vocal performances by Agata Pińczuk-Burdzy, an instructor at the Singing Studio. The actor-singers will also be accompanied by dancers prepared by Halina Bałacka-Kłak, an instructor at the Contemporary Dance Studio; Paweł Klimek, an instructor at the Break-Dance Studio; and Krystyna Abramowicz, a dance instructor for the Canon and Canonki groups.
