It is a symbol of peace, brotherhood, hope and love, reaching everyone who holds its message dear thanks to scouts and guides. On December 15 at 5:00 p.m., at the Old Town Bridge, we will share it with our western neighbors
The Polish Scouting and Guiding Association has participated in the Bethlehem relay since 1991. Traditionally, the Light is passed on alternately: once in Slovakia, once in Poland. On the same day, it reaches Kraków and Częstochowa, from where it spreads throughout Poland.
Scouts from Zgorzelec bring the Light from Wrocław and pass it on to churches, associations, offices and institutions in Zgorzelec. For several years, through the mayors of Zgorzelec and Görlitz, we have also passed it to our German neighbors, together with wishes for happy holidays.
