“Before It Is Too Late”

The project won an open competition under the “Safe and Friendly School” programme, aimed at increasing the effectiveness of educational and preventive measures to promote safety and create a friendly environment in schools and educational institutions in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in 2014. The competition was announced by the Lower Silesian Voivode. The project is worth PLN 20,656, including PLN 17,756 in funding.

The “Before It Is Too Late” project is a programme of coordinated educational activities expanding the school’s prevention programme and addressed to students, teachers and parents. The offer for students includes interpersonal communication workshops conducted by specialists. Parents will take part in classes led by education trainers and graduates of the “Academy of Leaders of Schools of Education and Communication in the Family,” while teachers will learn about aggression and violence in schools and ways to prevent these phenomena.

The project’s final outcome will be the prevention play “A Difficult Art,” staged at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre–International Ceramics Centre on 18 December 2014.
