The incident occurred on Friday, November 28, near the intersection of Cieszkowskiego and Modłowa streets. Two cars collided: an Opel and a Volkswagen Transporter. Two people were injured: the van driver and a five-year-old passenger in the car. They were taken to hospital.

The 40-year-old Opel driver from Bolesławiec failed to give way to the Volkswagen driver, a 36-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. The 36-year-old suffered spinal injuries.
