The incident occurred on November 9, at around 7:10 p.m., in Jelenia Góra, after a football match had ended. While driving along Drzymały Street, police officers noticed several men at the intersection with Świętojańska Street who were swearing loudly; two of them were also drinking alcohol.
When they saw the police officers, the men fled. Officers later spotted them on 1 Maja Street. The fans were still swearing loudly, and two of them continued drinking alcohol.
The group included four residents of Jawor County, aged between 19 and 32, a 30-year-old from Jelenia Góra, and a 30-year-old from Piechowice. All of them were fined PLN 100.
