The incident took place in October this year in one of the shops in Jelenia Góra, where the 58-year-old worked as a shop assistant. That is where the woman found a bank card. The card's owner did not come to collect it for several days, so... the 58-year-old decided to take advantage of the opportunity. She used it to pay for purchases several times.
When the victim realized that someone had used her bank card, she notified the police, who arrested the 58-year-old shop assistant.
The woman confessed to the crime. She now faces a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.
