On November 1, there will be no shortage of uniformed officers near the cemeteries. There will also be changes to traffic organization.

Zgorzelec:

  • along the entire length of Bohaterów II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street in the direction of the city center, stopping will be prohibited
  • near the main cemetery entrances—that is, the gate on the Słowiańska Street side (directly opposite the chapel) and the gate on the Bohaterów II Armii WP Street side—stopping areas (but not parking areas) will be designated for taxis and vehicles bringing elderly and disabled people
  • additional parking spaces will be designated and marked at and near the cemetery.

Bogatynia

  • Kurzańska Street will be closed to vehicular traffic
  • access to the cemetery will be permitted only for city buses, disabled people and people with reduced mobility
  • the speed limit on the bypass (Solidarności Avenue) will be reduced to 30 km/h.

Pieńsk

  • vehicles will be prohibited from driving from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Świerczewskiego Street, on the section between Karola Miarki Street and Krańcowa Street. Traffic will be diverted to Zgorzelecka Street.

Zawidów, Sulików

  • Sulików, 8 Maja Street (12:00–14:00) – vehicles may be parked on one side of the street indicated or marked by the police
  • Studniska Dolne; behind the church (10:00–12:00) – vehicles may be parked on one side of the street or mostly along the road behind the church (on the fields side)
  • Radzimów; after the intersection in the direction of Zawidów (12:00–14:00), the cemetery and the area around the church – vehicles may be parked on one side of the street (on the cemetery side)
  • Zawidów; Warszawska Street (13:00–14:30) – vehicles may be parked in places indicated by the police; where possible, vehicles may be parked on nearby streets in a way that does not block residents’ property entrances.

The police are appealing to Zgorzelec residents to use public transport that day whenever possible. Or simply take a walk.
