Sixteen new people and 159 from the previous year began their studies at the Bolesławiec University of the Third Age (UTW). The inauguration took place on Saturday, October 25. During the ceremony, 60 people were recognized and awarded for their activity and participation in events organized by UTW. At the same time, the head of the unit, Wiesława Olczyk, thanked the institutions and authorities cooperating with the university.
The Bolesławiec University of the Third Age operates within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Tourism in Jelenia Góra of the Wrocław University of Economics. The classes serve to educate seniors, improve their fitness and fill their free time. Anyone who has difficulty organizing their time can still join the other students. A few places are still available.
