On May 24, the Water Universiade was held at the Bolesławiec „Orka” Water Park. This year, students of the University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec demonstrated for the tenth time their swimming skills acquired during the classes.
Traditionally, the event began with water gymnastics demonstrations using equipment, followed by exciting swimming competitions. Around 50 people took part in the competitions. The contestants had to swim 25 metres with a pool noodle, using freestyle, and in a relay.

Pool activities are an excellent opportunity to take care of your health and work on motor coordination and physical fitness. The University of the Third Age in Bolesławiec carries out a range of activities in the cultural, artistic and sports fields.
In the 2023/24 academic year, 155 students will benefit from UTW’s diverse programme.
