Let us recall: the crimes in question took place on the night of March 7–8 last year in the building of the Lower Silesian Philharmonic in Jelenia Góra. The victims were 25-year-old Victoria J., a harpist who was staying at the time in a guest room located in the philharmonic building, and 59-year-old Paweł K., a security guard.
On May 5 this year, the District Court in Jelenia Góra issued its ruling in the case. 30-year-old Michał M. was sentenced to life imprisonment. The ruling was not final.
The Court of Appeal in Wrocław upheld the sentence. M., who was sentenced to life imprisonment, will be able to apply for conditional release after 40 years. Details are available on the Gazeta.pl website.
