Seven Ukrainian citizens detained in Kudowa-Zdrój, Olszyna and Zgorzelec had used visas obtained through fraud. At diplomatic missions in Ukraine, they submitted declarations stating that they intended to work in Poland. They most often declared that they would work in agriculture or for construction companies. However, after arriving in Poland, they did not even contact their potential employer, and used the visas they held to visit friends in the Czech Republic or Germany.
