On 10 October, officers from the Prevention Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra, together with forest rangers from the “Śnieżka” Forest District in Kowary, carried out an operation targeting quad-bike and motocross motorcycle riders driving around Kowary, Dąbrowica and Grabarów.
The officers detained five Dutch nationals and fined each of them PLN 1,000 for illegally entering the forest and persistently frightening animals.
