On October 10, officers of the German-Polish Joint Facility in Ludwigsdorf/Zgorzelec detained a Vietnamese citizen who was transporting 850 g of methamphetamine in his car boot.
Further proceedings were carried out at the Border Guard post in Zgorzelec. Tests confirmed that the substance found was methamphetamine. Its value was estimated at nearly PLN 102,000.
The Vietnamese man was detained. By court decision, he has already been remanded in custody for two months. He faces at least three years in prison.
