A 14-year-old resident of one of the towns near Jelenia Góra, suspected of theft, was apprehended by police. The incident occurred on October 7. Taking advantage of the teacher’s absence from the classroom, the teenager stole a teaching aid—a cross-section of a 400 V electric motor worth PLN 430.
Officers found the teaching aid at the 14-year-old’s home. As it turned out, he wanted to sell the stolen item at a scrap-metal collection point.
He will now face family court for his actions.
