Police officers from Kowary detained two men, aged 21 and 23, suspected of misappropriation of property and burglary. The incident took place on September 30 this year in one of the apartments in Kowary. The men came to visit the victim’s brother. During the visit, they took advantage of the woman’s inattention and stole her bank card.
Officers established that the suspects used it three times, making contactless payments for small purchases.
The 21- and 23-year-olds admitted their guilt. They now face a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
