Elżbieta M., former head of the Bolesławiec branch of the Polish Teachers’ Union, is accused of misappropriating teachers’ dues. As Regina Haniszewska, the district prosecutor, informed us, the amount exceeds PLN 90,000.
The indictment was submitted to the court in mid-September this year. M. could face up to five years in prison.
