On Friday, September 26, as every year, First-Year Students’ Day was held at the Janusz Korczak II General Secondary School in Bolesławiec. This year, it was prepared by class 2d and its homeroom teacher. The five first-year classes had fun together and competed in challenges prepared especially for them.

All the classes demonstrated excellent preparation and great commitment. The jury (comprising: Izabella Daniel, Iwona Florkowska, Martyna Stasiak, Marek Drąg) assessed the competition.

The students presented their talents in previously prepared challenges: dressing up as residents of a country drawn earlier and performing a scene from a film drawn earlier.

The remaining timed challenges involved winding yarn and drinking milk. The classes also demonstrated makeup skills by transforming one person into a cat, as well as their poetic abilities by writing a poem praising their homeroom teacher.

The competition was very close, but class 1a ultimately won and received one chosen day without being questioned or having quizzes or tests. Class 1e took second place, while 1c came third.
