They reported their concerns to neighborhood officers. In response to residents’ needs, last Friday (from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.), officers from the first and second police precincts conducted the “Neighborhood Officers’ Night” operation. The officers intervened 64 times. They checked the identities of 86 people and uncovered 21 violations.

What is more, a road pirate was caught by the police. After 9:00 p.m., the Lubin police dispatcher received information that a driver was heading toward Lubin without his lights on. The man was stopped by traffic police. He was fined PLN 200 and received 4 penalty points.

As it turned out, the driver was not particularly concerned. In front of the police officers, he drove through an intersection after the light had turned red. This time, he received a PLN 500 fine and 6 penalty points.

The police announce that the operation will be conducted regularly.
