A few minutes after six p.m., the T92 group, well known to the Bolesławiec audience, took the stage. They performed, among other events, at last year's Rock Blok showcase at BOK and the finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity. The young musicians presented a dozen or so original songs.
After a technical break, Lubań's Daybreak performed, playing Hardcore music. The songs were fast and lively. The audience reacted very energetically, and a sizable group of dancing people gathered in front of the stage. Daybreak was followed by Izmair. This band played in the finale of last year's Rock Blok showcase at BOK. The music performed by the band is difficult to classify unambiguously. It is a mixture of genres such as black metal, gothic and progressive, all enveloped in an excellent, dark atmosphere.
The final band to play was Lux in Tenebris. The group included a bassist who also performed with Izmair. The Lubań bands played in Bolesławiec as part of the Black Generation Festival 2006. They dedicated their songs to the memory of the recently deceased guitarist of Daybreak.
Friday Musical Meetings at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre are intended to gain momentum and take place every week. Daniel Gancarczyk from BOK will be responsible for organizing them. In the near future, Niebo and Lusz, winners of the Rock Blok showcase at BOK, will perform, among others.
