Police detained a 36-year-old resident of Rudna municipality suspected of making criminal threats and stabbing another man with a knife. The whole story began several days earlier. One of the municipality’s residents was shopping at a store and briefly left a bag with his purchases unattended. The 36-year-old took advantage of this and stole the bag containing someone else’s shopping.
Several days later, the two men met. The victim demanded the return of his purchases or the money for them. The perpetrator asked him to step aside. He claimed that he would return what he had taken. However, he did something else—instead of money, he pulled out a knife and wounded the victim several times. Fortunately, the injuries were not serious.
The police were notified. The 36-year-old was detained and taken into police custody. He faces up to two years in prison.
