On Monday, September 8, Legnica police officers carried out an operation aimed at improving safety on the roads of the city and county. Several hundred drivers were checked, 600 sobriety checks were conducted, and 78 fines were issued (mainly for exceeding the speed limit, failing to wear seat belts, and improperly transporting children).
What is more, officers confiscated 8 vehicle registration certificates (due to the poor technical condition of the vehicles). They also apprehended a driver who was driving under the influence of drugs. His driving licence was confiscated, and procedural activities were carried out.
