On Monday, September 8, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic police conducted the preventive “Sober Morning” operation. The action is intended to improve road safety.
During the operation, police officers checked 562 drivers; five of them were drunk. All five may now face a penalty of up to two years in prison, a driving ban lasting several years, and a heavy fine.
