The detention took place on September 2. Officers from the Criminal Department detained a 15-year-old resident of Lubin, who had committed numerous thefts in Lubin shops since the beginning of 2014. The last crime the suspect committed before his detention was breaking into a locker at an e-cigarette sales outlet. The teenager stole 200 bottles of e-liquid. The losses were estimated at PLN 4,000.
As the police established, the 15-year-old resident of Lubin was responsible for a whole series of thefts. His loot included clothing, watches, cosmetics and food products. The case is developing, and officers do not rule out further detentions.
The teenager was first taken to the Police Juvenile Detention Centre and then, by order of the family court, placed in a juvenile shelter for three months. After that period, the court will decide the thief’s further fate.
