Zgorzelec traffic police conducted the “Safe Weekend” operation on the roads of the district from 29 to 31 August, aimed at ensuring the safety of road users returning from holiday.
During this time, there were no accidents; only 7 collisions were recorded. Two drivers were arrested for driving under the influence. Moreover, one of the drivers (who overtook at a pedestrian crossing and at an intersection) lost his driving licence.
