This is how the harvest festival celebrations organized last Saturday in Dłużyce began. In addition to the impressive wreath, the residents also prepared homemade delicacies and baked goods.
Before the food tasting and dance party began, however, the residents attended Mass and then followed the wreath in a procession to the village community center. There, the village head of Dłużyce, Edwarda Zdobylak, welcomed all the guests, including Lubin County Governor Adama Myrdę and Chairman of the Lubin County Council Krystiana Kosztyłę, with a village loaf of bread.
After the official part, the party continued until dawn. Everyone had a great time dancing to lively music performed by the Optimals band from Mierzowice.
