On Monday, 25 August, Border Guard officers from Jelenia Góra, Tuplice, Legnica and Kłodzko detained eight Ukrainians, all for illegal stay.
Border Guard officers from Legnica detained a Ukrainian family on the A4 motorway: the parents and their adult son. The father and son were supposed to cooperate with a Podkarpackie company involved in car trading, but the men decided that they would buy consumer electronics and household appliances in Poland and then sell them in Ukraine. The woman simply wanted to accompany her husband and son on their travels.
The Polish visas of all the detained foreigners were cancelled, and they were ordered to leave the country.
