Police officers from Jelenia Góra arrested a 23-year-old man. The man is suspected of several crimes. His alleged offenses include robbery with a dangerous weapon, misappropriation of property, as well as possessing and supplying drugs to another person.
According to investigators, the man had been meeting a woman at his apartment for some time. During her visits, they smoked marijuana together. At one point, the victim decided to end the relationship definitively. The 23-year-old then threatened her with a knife, stole her money, and appropriated her computer, camera, tablet and phone. Moreover, he would not let her leave and locked her inside the apartment.
The woman estimated her losses at approximately PLN 6,000. When she managed to leave the 23-year-old’s apartment, she notified the police.
The man was taken into police custody. He could face up to 15 years in prison.
