The incident took place on 24 July on the Nowogrodziec–Ocice route. Two vehicles collided: a Volkswagen Golf and a delivery van. The collision was so severe that the driver of the passenger car was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters pulled him out of the car. He was given qualified first aid and then handed over to the ambulance service.
