A 24-year-old resident of Lwówek County was apprehended by officers from the Criminal Division of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. Using a fake certificate of employment and earnings, the woman attempted to defraud a bank of PLN 6,500. She was caught red-handed.
Moreover, officers established that over the previous two weeks, the suspect had already fraudulently obtained a PLN 3,000 loan and had twice attempted to obtain a PLN 6,000 loan.
The detainee confessed to the crime. She now faces up to 8 years in prison.
