The incident occurred on Tuesday, July 22, on Road No. 94, between Tomaszów Bolesławiecki and Wilczy Las (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). A delivery Citroen was traveling slowly toward Bolesławiec, followed immediately by a Porsche. The Porsche driver had to slow down.
Then—at around 12:50—a bus arrived and struck the rear of the Porsche. The car ended up in a ditch. Two people in the Porsche were affected by the incident (they suffered only minor injuries), as was the bus driver. The latter was taken to hospital.
The bus driver probably failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. Police are determining the cause of the incident.
