The incident occurred on Friday, 11 July, at a pedestrian crossing on II Armii Wojska Polskiego Street in Bolesławiec. One of the pedestrians wanted to cross the road, pressed the traffic-light button and waited for the green light to appear. A Seat driver stopped before the pedestrian crossing, but the Ford driver failed to exercise due caution and hit the back of the other vehicle.
The Ford’s passenger, the driver’s daughter, was injured in the collision. She was taken to hospital. Whether the incident will be classified as an accident or a collision depends on her condition.
