II LO once again the most frequently chosen school

Fewer and fewer students are choosing I General Secondary School for themselves. Last year, the school Cezary Czernatowicz offered 180 places, and 144 candidates applied. This year, the number of places was reduced to 150, while the number of applicants was lower nonetheless. Last year, 160 applicants applied to II General Secondary School; this year, there were 169.

The head of the Department of Education, Culture, Physical Culture and Sport told us about recruitment to general secondary schools, technical secondary schools and vocational schools. “I am pleased that we will establish all 31 classes planned in the county schools. That is the most important thing for me,” says Alicja Krzyszczak.

The principal of II General Secondary School is very pleased with the recruitment results. “For the second year in a row, recruitment has gone so well for us,” says Mirosław Sakowski. “Contest winners and students with the highest grade averages came to us. This success is the result of the teachers’ tremendous work. We offered students many attractive activities, including sailing, international exchanges, sports and theatre activities, and volunteering. I would like to thank head of department Alicja Krzyszczak and the Istotne.pl editorial team for their support and assistance. Our two-year cooperation with the portal has been beneficial, and I will continue it. To achieve success, you need to have an idea for the school and consistently implement it. But I only set the tone, so I would like to thank above all the teachers of II General Secondary School and everyone who supported us,” the principal adds.
