The president of the Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej, Wiesław Ogrodnik, was dismissed on Friday, 9 May. He will remain employed by the company until 31 August, but from Monday he will already be on leave. Sławomir Grzesiak will manage the company until a new president is appointed. The competition for the new head of ZEC is to be announced by the end of June.
The official reason for Ogrodnik’s dismissal is that President Piotr Roman did not grant him a vote of approval for the past year. The supervisory board that dismissed Ogrodnik consists of: Sławomir Grzesiak (chairman), Grzegorz Kozłowski (deputy chairman), Anna Puk (secretary), Katarzyna Babijczuk (member) and Robert Burdzy (member).
