On Tuesday (18 March), a resolution was adopted on granting financial assistance to local government units to co-finance the implementation of the “Lower Silesia for the Queen of Sport” athletics facilities construction programme in 2014. The criteria that determined the funding:
- The first facility in a given county or the first facility at the county seat.
- An expanded scope of the task.
- Conducting athletics training in athletics sections and clubs in the area where the athletics facility is located.
- The number of residents and the number of students at the school where the facility is being built.
