Jakub Legieżyński is 14 years old and facing a serious problem – the boy has developed a very severe form of lymphocytic leukemia. One of Poland’s best-known rappers – Adam “Pih” Piechocki – will come to Bolesławiec especially for him! The rapper will travel over 600 km to perform for Kuba!
The concert will take place on 22 March at the newly opened Centrum Integracji Kulturalnej “Orzeł”. It starts at 19:00. Local artists will also perform, including SDA & Bali, PAUL aka MR S., Fremik, Kuku and others. The ticket costs only PLN 35. A public collection for Kuba will also be held during the event.
Tickets can be purchased directly from the organizers – on Sunday between 16:00 and 17:00 at the Oleńka restaurant in the Old Town (if all tickets are not sold that day, another opportunity will be available on Monday between 14:30 and 15:30).
To overcome the illness, Kuba needs our support! Kuba’s family – his parents, sister and brother – is currently raising funds for treatment and to create suitable conditions for him when he returns home. The treatment will cost astronomical sums – a two-year course may cost more than one million złoty.
